Melissa Domingo-Rawat, as the header of this website says, is ‘very many somethings’ all rolled into one – Electrical and Electronics engineer, qualified Francophone, Singer/songwriter, Guitarist, Writer, Artist, Enthusiastic Chef/Baker, Incorrigible Dreamer and, most importantly, a Wife and a Mother.
Melissa’s songs are born out of her journey through life and are focused on telling a story. Besides using words to tell a story, Melissa is also an accomplished guitar player. She enjoys writing and performing solo guitar instrumentals – particularly in a fingerstyle/percussive genre.
Melissa has won many awards for her music over the years. Her song ‘The Garden of Angels’ was the First Runner up in two categories of the UK Songwriting Contest in 2011 – Adult Contemporary and Singer/Songwriter.
Melissa is of Anglo-Indian origin. She was born and raised in India and now lives in Sydney, Australia.
